UAWA COUNTY ENGINEER
RESIGNATION ANNOUNCED POSITION WITH P.W.D. The resignation is announced of Mr. G. W. King, 8.E., A.M.1.C.E., engineer for the Uawa County, who has accepted a position with the Public Works Department, and will be engaged on the Gisborne-Wairoa railway. He expects to 1 complete his engagement with the County Council this month. Mr. King has been with the Uawa County Council for nearly eight years, his appointment taking effect on'June 30, 1930, following the resignation of Mr. J. P. Guthrie. Previously, Mr. King was with the Patea County Council for eight years, going there from the Raglan County Council. He commenced his experience in the Public Works Department.
