ARMY RECRUITING
INCREASE IN BRITAIN (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Oct. 11. Army recruiting is still on the increase in Britain. The recruit intake for September was:—Regular army, 2243; territorial army, 190 ti. These figures showed increases respectively of 12.4 and 22.5 per cent over September of last year. The recruits for the regular army in the six months to the end of September numbered 12,131, against 10,663 in the same period last year.
