DYSENTERY PATIENTS
TWO SERIOUS CASES MAORI BOY AND GIRL (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. Two cases of dysentery have been reported to the Wellington office of the Health Department from Porirua. The patients are a Maori boy and his sister. Both are serious cases. The origin of the outbreak has not yet been discovered, but all precautions are being taken. The children are in hospital. There have been no cases of dysentery reported in Wellington for at least 15 years, and there is considered ito be no likelihood of the infection spreading among the white population. ; • 1
Mr. Hainsworth hopes to be present at the opening of the exhibition at Glasgow, where he will endeavour to secure much that may be of value to the New Zealand exhibition. If the Paris exposition reopens next year, he will make a point of seeing it in order to gain the very latest ideas.
