MR. SAVAGE EMPHATIC HEALTH INSURANCE SUPERANNUATION PLAN (Per Piosa Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. An emphatic statement that the
Government’s national health insurance and national superannuation proposals would be given legislative effect during the approaching session of Parliament, and that nothing would stop the Government from putting the scheme through, was made by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, in an interview tonight. “Our object in introducing this scheme is to improve on the conditions as they exist at the present time,” Mr. Savage said, “and I feel confident the outcome will be health and superannuation coverage that will be superior to anything else on earth.
