ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
EAST COAST ROSE BOWL H.B. TEAM NAMED (Special to tbo Herald.) NAPIER, this day. A representative soccer team will travel to Gisborne from Hawke's Bay and play the Poverty Bay senior representatives on August 21 in a challenge match for the East Coast Rose Bowl. The following team has been announced by the Hawke's Bay selector to make the challenge: J. Vannan, T. Gosling, W. Bryan, W. Clark, Neilson, F. Smith, J. Heath, Anderson, D. Galbraith, J. Clark, Mackie, and H. McCallum.
