ALL-ROUND INCREASE

BRITISH FOREIGN TRADE JUNE'S BUOYANT FIGURES (Elcc. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. July 15, 2 p.m.) LONDON, July 14. The Board of Trade returns for June show that imports were valued at £811,116,000, exports at £44,373.000, and re-exports at £7,126,000. In June of last year imports were valued at £67,644,005, and the total exports at £37,072,573.

The principal increases last month were:—

In imports, grain and flour, £1,629,000- meat, £1,025,000; dairy produce, £550,000; other food, £616,000; wood and timber, £1,877,000; non-ferrous ores and scrap, £858,000; wool and raw waste, £2,408,000; rubber, £768,000: non-ferrous metals and manufactures, £2,870,000; machinery, £556,000; and oils, fats and resins, £2,136,000.

In exports, coal, £1.135,000; wool and raw waste, £320,000; iron and steel manufactures, £1,610,000; machinery, £1,169,000; cotton yarns and manufactures, £1,418,000; woollens and worsteds, £820,000; chemical dyes, £660,000; vehicles, £700,000; miscellaneous manufactures, £805,000. In re-exports, grain and four, £319,000; wool and raw waste, £591,000; non-ferrous metals and manufactures, £348,000.
