HIGH SCHOOL BOARD

PARENTS' DEPUTIES Two nominations, those of Messrs. J. H. Sunderland and E. O. Upton, have been received for the position of parents' representatives on the Gisborne High School Board of Governors. The election of two members of the board by parents of pupils is held bi-annually and as the number of nominations this year does not exceed the number or vacancies Messrs. Sunderland and Upton have been duly declared elected. Mr. Upton is a new member to the board and has taken the place of Mr. H. E. Bright, who has served for a number of years and who did not seek re-election.
