VEAL STARTS RIOTS
WARSAW, May 15. A policeman was stabbed to death, 10 people wounded, and more than 100 arrested in anti-Jewish riots at the town of Brzose, 100 miles from Warsaw.
The fighting started when a policeman attempted to confiscate a slice of what is described as illegally prepared kosher veal in a butcher’s shop.
