“All the American business men to whom I have spoken are very interested in New Zealand's Labour legislation, but 1 never heard anyone .anticipating the result would be perilous,” said Mr, Maxwell MacMasler, president of the American Importers and Exporters' Association, on his arrival at Auckland by the Mariposa. “We are waiting to see the result, because our problems are largely those of New Zealand.”
