CLAIM BY OCTOGENARIAN BIRTII DAY CELEBRATED NEW YORK, July •10. Mr. Nikola Tesla, who is 81 to-day, continued his custom of celebrating his birthday with new inventions. He announced a device for breaking up the atom, thus producing a cheap substitute for radium. He said his inventions and longevity were the result of not taking coffee or tea and his refraining from marrying.
