TOLAGA BAY NEWS
EUCHRE PARTY (Herald Correspondent.) There was a very large attendance at the Hinemaurea meeting house on Friday evening when an enjoyable euchre party was held in aid of the meeting-house funds. A delicious supper was served by the committee ladies and in view of the large number of players prizes were awarded for the four highest scores for both lady and gentlemen players. Several players tied for the highest scores and the result of the play-off was as follows: —Ladies. —Mrs. Kopua, j i; Mrs. S. Whakataka, 2: Mrs. S. Tau- ! tau. 3; Mrs. G. Keelan, 4. Gentlemen. —Mr. H. Hindmarsh, 1; Mr. S. Whakataka, 2: Mr. T. Maurircre, 3; Mr. F. Crawford, 4. Messrs. T. Post, L. Donald, M. ! O'Connell, C. Day, D. .Tones, and R. McCosh, Ruatoria, returned to Tolaga Bay last evening from the young farmers’ educational week at Palmerston North. ______
