PROGRESS UNDER NAZIS VISITOR IMPRESSED SYDNEY, June 21. “I saw more poverty in England in two months than I saw in Germany in nine months,” said Dr. V. M. Trikojus, lecturer in medical organic chemistry at Sydney University, who returned by the Wuppertal yesterday after 16 months,abroad. “I have been greatly impressed by the regeneration which Hitler lias wrought in the nation. __ Conditions are infinitely better than when I was a student there 10 years ago.” Dr. Trikojns said that there were no beggars in Germany to-day. Hitler had wiped out disorderly houses in Germany, and had given many people new hope. “The anti-Jcwish propaganda continues, but it is not serious,” Dr. Trikojns continued. “It is interesting to note that any Jew:* who are useful to the Nazis are kept in thenpositions. Compared with Germany, Dr. Trikojns added, Austria was in a bad state. In Hungary and Czechoslovakia also poverty was very noticeable.
