Winter Battery Trouble

CEVERE weather conditions together with the normal winter cold places ah excessive strain on car batteries and unless they are kept in good condition motorists cannot expect unfailing service throughout the winter.

Starting alone requires a greater impulse in cold weather and the additional use of lights takes heavy toll of the capabilities of the battery. Further electrical equipment contained in the majority of modern cars increases the load and often causes a failure of the battery.

Motorists should pay regular and careful attention to the battery and thus avoid the possibility of a “flat" usually resulting in an embarrassing and inconvenient situation.
