U.S. Road Toll Grows
TNESPITE a vigorous safety campaign, road accidents in the United States increased during the first months of this year, according to the latest, advice received in Gisborne. During March there were 500 more deaths than in March. 1956. while the excess for the first quarter of the present year ■ amounted to over 1700 fatalities.
