GULF TEAM TO PLAY TOLAOA (Herald Correspondent.) The following is the Tokomaru Bay golf team to play against Tolaga Bay in the first game for the George Oates Memorial Cup, to be played on flic* Tokomaru Bay links this weekend:— Ladies. —Miss . E. Hale, Mrs. N. Oates. Mrs. E. Knox, Mrs. F. Brown, Miss E. Oates, Mrs. W. Ncvin, Mrs. R. Short, and Mrs. J. Riddell. Men.-—To Wai, P. Pairlie, Horton. V. Brown, N. Oates. R. Short. H. D.' Gardner, A. Oakey, .1. Todd. F. E. Porter, A. P. Oit, and A. B. Forrester.
Miss D. Connie has left for Napier, en route for Tamnaranui, where she intends spending an extended holiday as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. D. Sheolcy.'—Miss D. Pepper left this week for Hawke's Bay and Masterton, where she will be the guest of Mrs. L. Grey, formerly of Tokomaru Bay. Miss Pepper hopes to be away three weeks. —During the week, Mr. S. Mac Williams left Tokomaru Bay for Wellington.
Tokomaru Bay pupils of the Gisborne High S'chool, home for a month's vacation, include Misses Wynn Oates, 1. Mackay, M. ChafTey. S. Doig. P. Wilkins, M. Novin, and Master C. Hardacre.
