TOLL OF HEAT WAVE
FIFTY PERSONS SUCCUMB VICTIMS IN AMERICA NEW YORK, July 9. Fifty persons are dead as a result of a heal wave from the Atlantic seaboard. Tiie Middle West districts experienced a temperature of 110 degrees. The extreme humidity is producing much suffering in New York. In the Missouri-Ohio River Valley agricultural areas it is reported that, the crops are suffering from drought and harvest workers are collapsing in the fields.
