OBITUARY

MRS. K. BRADFORD The funeral of the late Mrs. C. K. Bradford, Whatatutu, whose death occurred suddenly early in the week, Look place on Wednesday at the Taruheru cemetery. The burial was preceded by a short service at Coch’••ine’s private chapel, the Rev. A. J. H. Dow conducting the service and also officiating at the graveside. The large number of mourners who formed the cortege bore witness to the popularity of the deceased, who had spent her whole life in the Whatatutu district, and had taken part in all social activities of the neighbourhood since her youth. Pall bearers at the funeral were Messrs. E. W. Bradford, W. Tail, Leslie Cooper, J. King, sen., H. Fitzgerald, C. Gaukrodger, jun„ J. Matte and R. King.
