Toowoomba made the Springboks play harder than the Australian XV on Saturday, but Craven could not be kept quiet. Van Reenan was the star forward.
An interesting player for Toowoomba was Lee. who played for the Wairarapa Union against the 1921 Springboks. Sheriff was hurt, and retired, but the muscle wrench he suffered was not serious.
