MISS Til 111. M A KKXN'HIIV Gisborneitcs will be interest to learn of the marriage of Miss Thelma Kennedy, second daughter of the late Mr. A. F. Kennedy and Mrs. Kennedy, of London, last month. The wedding ceremony of Miss Kennedy to Mr. Basil Kensington was celebrated at Holy Trinity Church, Sloane street, London. The bride was given away by her brother-in-law, Dr. Gilbert Moore, and the bridegroom’s brother acted as best man. After the wedding Mrs. A. F. Kennedy entertained the guests at a reception at the Royal Court Hotel, Sloane street. Amongst the guests were Mrs. Madeline Wallis, Mr. and Mrs. George Adair, and Mr. W. Barrington Miller. Amongst the many toasts honoured was one proposed bv Mr. W. Barrington Miller to the health of the bride’s mother. Mrs. Kennedy, and the bride’s sister, Mrs. Wall, Hawke’s Bay. The bride and bridegroom go into residence at St, George Hill’ after their honeymoon. '
