TOLAGA BAY NEWS
FLAG FIVE-HUNDRED (Herald Correspondent.) A very enjoyable evening was spent at the Reynolds Hall, Tolaga Bay, on Tuesday, when the entertainment committee of the Women's Institute held the first flag five-hur.dred party of the new session. There was a good attendance, nine tables being required to accommodate the players. A delicious supper was dispensed at the conclusion of the games, the hostesses being Miss Moore and Mrs. Edwards. ’ Prizes for the travelling envelopes were donated by Mrs. H. Nelson. The successful players were: —Ladies, most clips.—Miss A. Gage. Gentlemen, most clips.—Mr. E. Ross. Winning table, most flags.—Mrs. J. Henry, Mr. A. Morsehead, Mr. Gilder and Mr. Ross. Travelling envelopes.—No. 1: Mr. B. Gedye. No. 2: Mr. C. Taylor. Additional prizes were awarded to Mrs. J. Henry and Mr. K. Hutchens. On Saturday the senior Rugby representatives will play Waiapu in Tolaga Bay. The junior representatives will play Tokomaru Bay in Tokomaru Bay.
