CIVIL WAR IN SPAIN BREAKDOWN NOT LIKELY (Reed. July 7, 3 p.m.) LONDON, July 6. The diplomatic correspondent of the Associated Press understands that in view of the calmness succeeding last week's tension there is no immediate chance of a breakdown of the committee dealing with the question of non-intervention in the civil war in Spain, but a sub-committee is to be appointed to work out an equitable compromise regarding which private discussions are proceeding.
