KAITARATAHI BRIDGE
STEEL SUPPLY DELAYED The commencement of (lie Kaitaratahi bridge construction work has been delayed because of a difficulty in securing steel supplies. The contractor, Mr. W. Williamson, Christchurch, docs not know when supplies of steel will be available, and the date of commencement is uncertain. Once a start is made, the work should occupy from 12 to 15 months.
