ORANGE IMPORTS
FLY-FREE AREAS RESTRICTIONS RELAXED (Special to tim Herald.) WELLINGTON, this day. A relaxation of the restrictions relating tu I lie importation of oranges into New Zealand from Australia and elsewhere was announced last evening by the Acting-Minister of Customs, the linn. Mark Eagan. From the beginning of December or earlier if necessary to tile end of April next importers will bo free to import oranges in any quantity from the fly.free areas in Australia, subject to the production of certificates required by the Department of Agriculture. Importers are also permitted to import during that period from any flyfvee cooutrv such as Jamaica without restrictions as to quantity.
