MINISTER’S DENIAL
PURCHASE OF AEROPLANE LONDON. May 14. Questioned about the report from Canberra that the Commonwealth had purchased a 3CO m.p.h. military aeroplane with 1000 miles range, which type might be manufactured in Melbourne, the Minister of Defence, Sir Archdale Parkhill. said to-day that he had not heard of it. He had placed no orders since his arrival in England.
