CONTINGENT Comradeships founded in the stirring times of the Gallipoli campaign and m Iho subsequent desert warlare m I alestino will be renewed in Bahnerstmi North on June 12. when the annual reunion of the Wellington Mounted Lille Regiment will he held under the chanmanship of General Moldriim widely known throughout the Anz.ac Mounted units as the “Diggers’ friend.” Palmerston North lias a reputation or organising interesting reunions, and this vear the Wellington Mounteds’ gathering is expected Io reach record proportions. A strong contingent is to represent Poverty Bav and the East (oast, and Auckland also will send a large number of veterans of the war time unit. Exmembers of the regiment who served in its ranks overseas are being invited to make a special effort to bo present, and celebrate the twonly-second anniversary of tho formation of the Anz.ac forces, as a cohesive unit, of great’ military value and reputation. _____
