An unusual experience was witnessed by a Wanganui motorist over the weekend when meeting a motor truck neaf Kakaramea. The latter approached a sharp bend at a fast rate and the driver evidently lost control. To the surprise of the "Wanganui motorist the truck reared up on" its back wheels after the brakes had apparently beeii applied. The vehicle then dropped back on its front wheels and swerved across the road narrowly missing a telegraph pole.
