Criticism of the policy of the Department. of housing in fixing contracts for the housing scheme by a system of schedules ol quantities instead of straight-out tendering was expressed by Hamilton builders at the an nun i meeting of the Hamilton .Master Builders’ and ('out rectors ’ Association.

At a deputation to the member for Hamilton, members were urged to submit tenders for Hamilton houses.
