BIG SUM FOR YEAR MOTOR TRADE PROFITS BOSTON, May 27. Data filed with the State Tax Commissioner lias revealed that the assets of the. Ford Motor Company increased to £143,400,000 during 1936, an increase of nearly £7,200,000 over 1935. The total increase in the profit and loss account and in reserves was nearly £5,300,000, equal to £1 10s 6d a share, compared with the indicated profit of 4s 3d in 1936. The figures do not take into account any dividends which might have been paid to owners.
