TWO MAKE LANDINGS

Three aeroplanes conveying 23 men and supplies of food and equipment to the polar meteorological station took otf on the. 550-mile flight from Prince Rudolph Island. Molotiv’s plane with eight men reached the destination, 12j miles from the Pole. Alexiev’s seven landed 14 miles from the Pole. Mazuruk’s with six men lias not been heard of for 13 hours.
