The effects of frost in Hawke’s Bay is clearly shown in the figures for that district. The export destinations of the fruit Were :
In addition to the above Otago sent to Calcutta ICO cases of apples, to Liverpool 22,698 cases, and to London 124,912 eases of apples and 6227 eases of pears. The London manager's report states that- the fruit this year turned out better than lie had seen for many years.
