Mrs. J. Black is a patient in a Gisborne hospital.—Congratulations are extended to two Nuhaka residents, Mr. F. T. Woodley, headmaster of the Nuhaka Native School, who is the recipient ol the King’s Coronation Medal, and Mr. A! "Hickling, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Ik Hickling, who was a successful competitor at the recent Wairoa Dog trials. —Mrs. W. I. Phin, Omaiui, is spending a holiday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ballard, Patutahi.—Miss I. McKenzie, who is on the teaching staff of the . Nuhaka Native School, is proceeding to England. Miss McKenzie is accompanied by her mother and sister.— Mr. and Mrs. L. South and family, Morere, are spending a holiday in Napier, as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. M. South.—Sister May Gardiner is a visitor to Wellington.. The Nuhaka Plunket Ball is to be held on June 18.
