PUKETITI STATION EXCELLENT CONDITIONS (Herald Correspondent.) All day Tuesday and Wednesday the low.-wingcd monoplane A.K..T.W., piloted by Mr. Van Asclie, Hawke’s Bay, could ho seen circling over Puketiti, Mr. A. B. Williams’ station, which is about four miles inland from the Te P’tila hot springs. The object of the plane circling so often was to get a good photographic survey. Mr. Desmond Beale accompanied the pilot on Tuesday so ns to be able to point out (he different boundaries. The pilot was also accompanied by the mechanic, Mr. Tillson. The plane was up 9000 ft. and the visibility was splendid. At one stage the plane came down to 2000 ft. so as to get a clear view of the fences. The atmosphere being exceptionally good, a splendid view was seen of the country for many miles around.

The piano was clearly seen by residents of Waipiro Bay and surrounding districts. The machine belongs to the New Zealand Mapping Company, Limited.
