ALL-WEATHER ROAD

TE ARAROA-OPOTTKI PLAN (Herald Special Reporter) TIKTHKI, this day. Interviewed to-day, the Minister of Public Works, the' Hon. R. Semple, said that 24 bridges had yet to be built between Te Araroa and Opotiki. The biggest would bo completed within 12 months, when the road would bo an all-weather route, except in times of abnormal conditions. The remaining smaller bridges would be finished in two years.
