Acting on the recommendation of iht Executive Commission ol Agriculture, the Taupiri Dairy Company has dis posed of its factory at Taupiri to a group of co-operative concerns. Limited, another pro p.ielaiy firm which operated with Frankion as its headquarters, having been transferred in similar manner to cooperative, companies which cover the same territorv.

The purchase of the Taupiri factory will affect about 350 suppliers, who arc expected to divert their supplies to tin. co-operative companies when the changeover lakes place. Tile collecting services conducted by these concerns already reticulate the area, which was also served in the past by the proprietary company.

The sale of the Taupiri company's other large butter factory on the northern bank of Ihe Waikato Diver at. Tuakau to its suppliers was previously announced, and the settlers are to assume control on June I.
