GERMAN DENTISTS
TWO ARRIVE IN AUCKLAND WILL PRACTISE IN N.Z. ‘‘We have heard encouraging reports about New Zealand, its advanced form of free education and its healthy climate, and we have decided to settle here,” said two German dental surgeons who, with their wives and young families, arrived at Auckland by the Remuera from London on Sunday. They were Dr. B. Unger and Dr. M." Simenauer.
Dr. Unger said it was bis principal wish that his children should receive the benefit of a good education without the militaristic entanglements that surrounded schooling in Germany. He understood that there were reasonable opportunities for dentists in the Dominion and it was his intention to practise here. Dr. Simenauer expressed similar intentions, although both propose to survey the country completely before opening practices.
