The steamer Awatea entered dock during the week-end for an overhaul which will occupy nine weeks.

The overhaul follows the most strenuous season a I'.ritish vessel lias ever undertaken. S'inec September 15 of last year she made 61 Tasniah crossings and lias covered 32.440 miles, and carried approximately 2f>.oCo passengers.
