ABNORMAL NAZI FEET

ROOT OF SPINAL TROUBLE USE OF HEAVY HOOTS PROFESSOR GIVES ADVICE (Bloc. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Mav 2-1, 1.20 p.m.) LONDON, .May 23. The Berlin correspondent of the Daily Telegraph strifes that over 50 per cent of young Germans have abnormal feet, which is the chief cause of spinal weakness. This is regarded by Professor Scheade, a foot specialist, as the result of the wearing of heavy topboots by Nazi guards, stormtroopers, and labour corps and members of the Hitler youth movement.

Professor IScheadc attributes the developments to the wearing of heavily-nailed boots at a very early age and inarching on hard roads. He considers that if the imminent danger of a further decline in health is to be .averted, members of the. Ilitler youth movement must give up heavy boots, even if it involves the abandonment of the prevalent ideas regarding the militarisation of German boys.
