The King has notified the Royal Aero Club of his desire to give a cup annually for the aeroplane ■contest known as the King’s Cup air race inaugurated in 1922 bv King George V. To mark the Coronation year, Lord Wakefield will offers prizes for this race of '£2ooo, instead of £IOOO as in previous years.
