Prices were easier, vendors in some instances being required to lower their reserves to meet, the market. The following is a range of values. STORE CATTLE MARKET KEEN HASTINGS DEMAND Although the offering! of store cattle at Stortford" Lodge, Eastings, on Wednesday, was only a small one, considerable was 'shown in the entry and a keen demand for the better class of stock" brought forward maintained prices at a satisfactory level. The chief entry was on account of Mr. T. C. Lowrv, .whoso offering of 59 eighteen-rnonths' P. A. -Hereford cross steers, well grown and in excellent store condition, sold out at, £8 12s. Another line, on account of Rock station, comprising! 14 fairly grown three and fouryear Hereford and Shorthorn cross cattle, forward in condition, realised C 9 4s.
