Captain and Mrs. G. JL Thornbar, Maidenhead, Berkshire, England, are visiting Mt. Cook. Mrs. .Thornbar relates her experiences off years ago, when she wont to the M.nlte Brua Hut at Ihe head of the Tasman Glacier with Guide Jack Clark. Accompanying Captain and .Mrs. Thornbiir is their neice, Miss .1. M. Hargreaves, a practising lawyer from 'Victoria, Australia. who also accompanied her relatives on their second visit lo New Zealand 27 years ago. Captain and Mrs. Thornbar are great lovers of New Zealand, and .Mrs. Thornbar, who takes an active interest in the borough activities of her own town in England, always insists on purchasing New Zealand produce, and influences her friends to do likewise. Mrs. Thornbar hopes to revisit. New Zealand again.
