PTL()T’S FORCED LANDING

An inquiry was opened at Wanganui into tint recent forced landing in the Kaimamiwa Itnnges of a Moth aeroplane piloted bv Mr. Wilson I’oiaka, who was accompanied by a passenger. 'Flu* pilot, was unable to be present, but a report on the flight and forced landing was received from him. As the inquiry could not proceed without him, it was decided to adjourn the meeting .after reports had been tabled and several theories advanced ns to the cause of the forced landing had been discussed.
