Values were well maintained at Addington tmday, except for store lambs and cow beef, which were weaker. Store sheep : The entry was about the same as last. week. Adult sheep sold well, though erratically. Lambs were cheaper by up to 2s. Fat lambs : The entry was heavier and the quality fair. Prices were firm. STORTFORD LODGE SALE TOP PRICES FOR SHEEP FAT CATTLE IN DEMAND (Per Press Association.) HASTINGS, this day. Last week’s high level values for fat cattle were fully maintained at Stortl’ord Lodge yesterday, when,a much larger yarding came forward. several pens of good quality ox beef were offered, being the best yarding made lor several weeks. Heavy prime, ranged from £l3 to £l4 2s : •medium weight prime, £ll 10s to £l2 15s. Female entries also sold well, cows reaching, to £lO. Store rattle were confined to a few entries of station-hied steers and miscellaneous sorts.

Store sheen and lambs were in smaller supply, but late values were, fully maintained. best forward black-faced making 23s 7d. topping the market for the season. A large number of breeding owes were offered, including many sound month and old sorts. Brisk competition prevailed for all young entries and good mouthed fat and forward wethers met a good market, reaching to 265.
