A thresher shark about 9ft. 3in. in length and weighing -2001 b. was caught by a fishing party off Cape Kidnappers on Sunday. It is stated bv‘many 'fishermen ' that this is probably the first thresher shark ever caught in Hawke’s Bav waters.
