The track was only slightly affected by light rain in the morning. The attendance was fair. Results were : Spring Hurdle Handicap.—3-3 Redolent (Beak), 1; 5-5 Golden Lap (Boyle;. 2; 1-1 Polydora (O'Connor), 3. Scratched ■ Vitaphone. Won by three lengths and four lengths. Time, 2.50 1-5. Chrysology and Royal Pal fell. Trial Handicap—3-2 Autumn Wind (L. J. Ellis), 1; 1-3 Gold Boa (R. J. Jenkins), 2; 4-4 Robeur (C. T. Wilson), bracketed with Le France, 3. Scratched : Rebel Mate, Darien, Natty, and Roseman. Won by three-quarters of a length, and two lengths. Time, 1.17 4-5. Maunagatua Handicap.—4-5 Poniard (Mackie), 1; 5-4 Vantoon (L. J. Ellis), 2; 1-2 Jack Ahoy (Leckie), 3. Scratched: Cape Gabo. Won by three lengths, and one length. Time, 1.43 2-5. Electric Handicap.—l-1 Paper Slipper (G. Humphries), 1; 3-4vCapital (P. parsons), 2; 4-3 Greek Gold (L. J. Ellis), 3. All started. Won by three-quarters of a length, and a length. Time. 1.15 2-5.
