Egan), covered nine furlongs on the course proper in 2.8£. Journal (P. Burrowes) was not extended to defeat Daz/.lemenl. by six lengths in 1.503. Journal looks well. The Monarch wont four furlongs in 52secj Somerset (P. Simmonds), six in 1.204 5 am ' Crand Mogul (N. Brace) and Brian (11. Skidmore), finishing together, did six in 1.22. W. Cook rides Grand Mogul in the Toorak Handicap. Barornetic did four furlongs on the 'grass with the wind in 51bcc.
