FLEMINGTON TRACK THIS MORNING'S GALLOPS (Reed. Oct. 8. 3 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Oct. 8. There was light rain at Fleniington this morning, but the going was good. On the tan, Dick Devon did 10 furlongs in 2.214Fine Feathers heat The Pioneer over four furlings in 51sec. Whitford, with a lightweight, S. Burgoine, up, ran 10 furlongs on the grass in 2.16 k Beaure-i went better than Owen Roe the best seven furlongs on the grass to-day in 1.31. Bustard (A. Cooper) and Arbalest (P. Egan), covered nine furlongs on the course proper in 2.8£. Journal (P. Burrowes) was not extended to defeat Daz/.lemenl. by six lengths in 1.503. Journal looks well. The Monarch wont four furlongs in 52secj Somerset (P. Simmonds), six in 1.204 5 am ' Crand Mogul (N. Brace) and Brian (11. Skidmore), finishing together, did six in 1.22. W. Cook rides Grand Mogul in the Toorak Handicap. Barornetic did four furlongs on the 'grass with the wind in 51bcc.
