SLOOP WEATHERS STORM
RETURN FROM ISLANDS WELLINGTON IN PORT (Per Press Astoclatlon.) AUCKLAND, this day. The sloop 11.M.5. Wellington returned from her, annual islands cruise last night. .The sloop experienced a severe storm on Tuesday, just after completing her full-power trial. The storm was the worst experienced by the Wellington during her present commission, and caused her to reduce speed, although her arrival at Auckland was still some hours ahead of the original schedule. For six weeks, from the beginning of July until September 24, she carried Bishop Kemptmorne, of Polynesia, on a tour of his extensive diocese.
