' The sum represented by the awards was £3453 10s. and the average award had been £l4 8s lOd. Since these awards had been made. 34 had been cancelled, representing £312. Since the inception of Hie I unit. £64.021 17s had been paid to bursaries. 3564 bursaries had been awarded affect ino-1 1331 children; and on the average each child bad benefited to the extent oi £46 7s 2d.
