SERVICES PRAISED ASSOCIATION’S THANKS At last evening’s annual meeting of jhe |'overt V Lav ( Ticket .Association All. W. Stewarl railed attention to the ioct that the association was losing from its executive three of its best worket >. Messr;. I’. (’. Dwyer. A. Balter, and At. K. Boon. Mr. Stewarl declared that anyone who had been on the executive would realise how much the loss of these members would be fell. He moved that a hearty vote of thanks be accorded to the retiring officers.

The motion was seconded by Air. A. Bitrncll. while a further tribute to their services was paid by Air. 11. E. Mamin, who also referred to the work of -M> • \V. Blaihwnyl. The motion was carried hv acclamalinn.

Mr. Dwyer, thanking the speakers on behalf of Mr. Boon and himself for the appreciative remarks, spoke of Hie happy associations fie had enjoyed while on the executive. At the same lime lie pointed out what an asset the association had in Mr. Maude as chairman.

Mr. Baker also suitably replied, and together with Air. Dwyer expressed the hope that although lie was no longer on the executive he would be able to render still further assistance to the association.

Mr. Ala tide also moved that a letter of thanks should be forwarded l_o the retiring secretary'. Mr. A. 11. A\ light, who laid been 'transferred 1o Hawke s Bov. Tire motion was carried.
