SAVOLDI WINS ON POINTS
DEFEAT OF JOE WOODS JOLTS AND DROP KICKS (Per Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, last night. Cleverer and faster, Joe Savoldi debated Joe Woods on points in a vrestling bout at Ilawera to-night. Each man gained a fall. Woods gained the first fall in the fourth round with elbow jolts and a crutch hold. Savoldi secured an equalising fall in the seventh with a drop kick that dazed Woods, and left him an easy victim.
