VANCOUVER, Aug. 20. Conflict of testimony regarding the origin of the spectacular fire which swept the southern shore of Coal Harbour early this morning is causing tlu city fir© warden's department to intensify investigations which have been under way since the blaze. Tho lire destroyed the Vancouver Arena, scene of professional ice hockey, wrestling.and boxing events since 1911, and three small neighbor ing -shipbuilding plants, causing damage estimated at £IOO,OOO.
